I recently had a thought, due to a few events happening in my life and how I thought I could have done better in said events.
There was this quote by Socrates, “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”
I feel like eventhough that’s clearly aimed at the physical side of things, I think it can also be implemented into other parts of life. Let’s say you’re doing a personal project, or something more important. Don’t you think that it’d be a shame if you didn’t put your best into what you’re doing, to at least see what you’re capable of?
I often see myself lazing off and not putting my best into the things I know I can decimate if I put my all into, but at least with these thoughts I’ll try to implement it and try my best into my upcoming work.
Oh yeah, this is the “philosophy” side of this blog, you’ll be seeing some more of this stuff down the line. Thank you for reading, and do tune in again for more random life lessons.
